DAY 1 - LONDON TO HO CHI MINH CITYOvernight flight from London to Ho Chi Minh City. DAY 2 - HO CHI MINH CITYSpend two nights at Park Royal Hotel in Vietnam’s commercial capital, formerly called Saigon. Today you'll visit the Reunification Palace, the War Remants Museum, Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Pagoda on a city tour.DAY 3 - HO CHI MINH CITYThis morning we travel to the famous Cu Chi tunnels, used by the Vietcong during the Vietnam War. Afternoon at leisure.DAY 4 - HO CHI MINH CITY TO THE MEKONG DELTATravel from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be and take a boat trip along the Mekong Delta to explore this picturesque region, visiting floating markets and local villages. Stay one night at Victoria Can Tho. DAY 5 - MEKONG DELTAThis morning take a boat ride on Rach Ngong River to Cai Rang floating market, before visiting temples and the Tay An Pagoda in Chau Doc.Return to the Mekong River and head by boat to Champa Village to see the fish breeding houses. Stay overnight at Victoria Chau Doc.DAY 6 - PNOMH PENHEarly departure from Chau Doc by speedboat over the border into neighbouring Cambodia. On arrival transfer to Sunway Hotel, before enjoying the afternoon at leisure.DAY 7 - PNOMH PENHToday embark on an introductory tour of the city, visiting the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and the important Buddhist pagoda of Wat Phnom.After lunch in a local restaurant you'll visit Tuol Sleung museum, a harrowing reminder of the crimes of the Khmer Rouge.DAY 8 - PNOMH PENH TO SIEM REAPFly to Siem Reap in Cambodia for 3 nights at the Lotus Angkor. The remainder of the day is at leisure or you may choose to take an optional tour (time permitting), visiting Angkor National Museum or Ta Prohm temple (extra cost).DAY 9 - ANGKOR WATEnjoy a full day tour in the temples. In the morning visit the Bayon, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King.After lunch we'll visit Angkor Wat itself - this breathtaking temple with its 3-tiered pyramid is the centrepeice of the temple complex.DAY 10 - TONLE SAP LAKEA half day tour to Tonle Sap Lake. Travelling by traditional wooden boat we visit the floating village, offering an insight into the local way of life.NB: When water levels are low (usually between January and July) a visit to the National Silk Centre in Puok will be included in place of Tonle Sap.DAY 11 - BANGKOKContinue by air for 2 nights in Bangkok at Majestic Grande. Time is at leisure to explore this dynamic city.Day 13 - BANGKOK TO LONDONReturn flight to London, arriving the next day.
