Located in the heart of the Mara, Keekorok is a long-time favourite of many Kenya aficionados and dates back to 1962. Set on a superb eighty acre site, it blends sterling modern comforts with sprawling lawns, epic surroundings and an astonishing hippo pool with viewing deck.

The Lodge is made up of 101 comfortable standard rooms, eight superior rooms and four lovely suites. All are in gorgeous stone bungalows with their own spacious private balconies and made up of cedar wood, pink and grey Sand River stone and other traditional local materials and also surrounded by lush lawns and vivid bougainvillea.

Enjoy game drives across the plains of the Maasai Mara and with no fences around the property, elephants and buffalo often wander nearby. Savour the astonishing views from the 300 meter thatched walkway that winds through the forest, sip a sundowner cocktail at the bar overlooking the hippo pond and enjoy lavish local and international delicacies within a lovely central bar and restaurant area.
