Southern Palms Beach Resort

Nestled amidst ten acres of tropical gardens fringed with coconut palms, the Southern Palms Beach Resort sits on the dazzling white sands of Diani Beach. With two large lagoon-style pools, an exciting range of facilities and a blend of traditional Swahili and Arabic architecture, it offers a truly exotic escape.

A range of dining facilities includes five restaurants and five bars. The main restaurant offers a variety of cuisines and theme nights, while the poolside Manyatta specialises in grilled meats and seafood. La Via Romana serves traditional Italian fare under the stars, and evening entertainment encompasses African dancers, acrobats and live music. The swim-up bars are ideal for afternoon refreshments and sundowners, a main bar is open 24 hours, and at the Lake Palace Bar guests can sample shisha and water pipes. There are two large swimming pools, floodlit tennis courts, squash courts, table tennis, a fitness centre and a PADI diving school as well as a boutique, beauty salon and treatment rooms.

298 rooms each with air-conditioning, telephone, tea and coffee facilities, minibar, shower, locally carved four-poster bed and balcony or terrace with swimming pool and garden views.
