A fascinating and comprehensive trip ideal for repeat visitors to Egypt looking for a touring itinerary with a difference. Experience the spectacular white desert with its incredible wind sculptured landscapes and see the fascinating Golden Mummies at the Bahariya Oasis.
The tour is escorted from Day 2 to Day 8 by an English speaking local tour guide and assistance is provided in each destination by our local representatives.
MEAL PLAN • Prices include breakfast, lunch and dinner from Day 2 to Day 7. Breakfast is included in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor.
ACCOMMODATION • Hotels are four star except in Siwa, Bahariya Oasis and Dakhla Oasis where accommodation is in simple three star hotels but these are the best available hotels. Desert camps are basic with limited facilities. MINIMUM NUMBERS • This tour is subject to a minimum number of passengers.
GROUP SIZE • Maximum 14 passengers.
GRATUITIES • In Egypt we recommend small amounts given regularly. For guides and drivers we recommend tipping at the end of your tour.
TRAVEL TIPS • Temperatures vary and we would recommend taking a sun hat and a few jumpers especially during the winter months.
NB • Children under 12 years are not permitted on this tour. Driving times are approximate and do not include time taken for sightseeing, meal and comfort stops. Entrance fees to Egypt’s antiquities can increase with little notice.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO CAIRObmi flight to Cairo and transfer to Iberotel Cairo airport hotel.
DAY 2 - CAIRO TO ALEXANDRIAAfter breakfast drive to Alexandria, visiting en route the Catacomb, a Roman Theatre, Alexandria Library and Citadel. Whilst in the heart of Alexandria enjoy lunch in a fish restaurant. Then continue to the west of Alexandria for an overnight stay at Radisson Blu Hotel (approx. 5 hours drive).
DAY 3 - ALEXANDRIA TO SIWAToday depart on the journey to Siwa with lunch en route and a visit to the Military Museum. Enjoy a sunset at Gabel el Mawta mountain and overnight at Siwa
Paradise Hotel or similar for two nights (approx. 7 hours drive). DAY 4 - SIWAAfter breakfast visit Shali (Old Siwa), the oracle temple of Alexandria, The Great Amoun Temple, Abu Obaida and Cleopatra Bath. In the afternoon visit Ain
Fetnas and enjoy the sunset (approx. 6 hours drive).
DAY 5 - SIWA TO BAHARIYA OASISEarly morning drive southeast to Bahariya and visit the local museum of the
Golden Mummies. Continue to the Bennuti Tombs and Qasr Selim. In the afternoon journey to the highest point of the oasis and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Overnight at the Palm Village or similar (approx. 7 hours drive).
DAY 6 - BAHARIYA OASIS TO WHITE DESERTAfter breakfast drive towards the Black Crystal and White Desert. Picnic lunch on the way and overnight at a desert camp (approx. 2½ hours drive).
DAY 7 - WHITE DESERT TO DAKHLA OASISEarly morning drive to Farafra Oasis for a short visit to a Hot Water Spring, continue driving to reach Dakhla Oasis. Visit the Temple of Der El Hagar, Tombs of
El Mozawaka and the picturesque village of El Qasr. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way and overnight at the Desert Lodge, eco hotel (approx. 6 hours drive).
DAY 8 - DAKHLA OASIS TO LUXORAfter breakfast, drive to Luxor. On the way visit the temple of Hibis and Tombs of Bagawat. Overnight at Sheraton Luxor (approx. 7½ hours drive).
DAY 9 - LUXOR TO LONDONFly EgyptAir to Cairo and onwards on bmi to London Heathrow.
ASWANAswan offers year round sunshine and is ideal for those wishing to relax in beautiful surroundings.
DAY 9 Today depart by road to Aswan (approx 4 hours), south of Luxor and spend three nights at the Mövenpick Resort Aswan in a Standard room.
DAY 12 Transfer to the airport for your EgyptAir scheduled flight to London Heathrow, via Cairo.
LUXORWith almost guaranteed sunshine year round guests can relax on the banks of the Nile or explore Luxor after the tour.
