Guide

Aboard the MS Sherry you will be accompanied from Day 2 to Day 7 by a local tour guide/Egyptologist and assistance is provided in each destination by our local representatives.

MEAL PLAN
Prices include breakfast, lunch and dinner aboard the MS Sherry, breakfast in Cairo. Breakfast is included on the Luxor extension.
GRATUITIES
In Egypt we recommend small amounts given regularly. For guides and boat crew we recommend tipping at the end of your cruise.

DAY 1 - LUXOR
Upon arrival, embark the MS Sherry. Overnight in Luxor.

DAY 2 - LUXOR TO ESNA
This morning visit the West Bank and the Thebes Necropolis, Valley of the Kings, El Deir El Bahari of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile and Karnak Temple. Sail to Esna.

DAY 3 - EDFU TO ASWAN
Sail to Edfu and on to Aswan via Kom Ombo. Overnight in Aswan.

DAY 4 - ASWAN
Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and the unfinished obelisk. Visit the Botanical Gardens and view Agha Khan Mausoleum whilst enjoying a leisurely and scenic sail in a felucca. Overnight in Aswan.

DAY 5 - ASWAN
Morning at leisure or an optional excursion (at extra cost) to the Temple of Abu Simbel by air. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Aswan.

DAY 6 - ASWAN TO EDFU
Sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple shared by two Gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Edfu for overnight.

DAY 7 - EDFU TO LUXOR
Sailing to Luxor passing through the Esna lock and on arrival visit the Luxor Temples on the East bank. Overnight at Luxor.

DAY 8 - LUXOR TO CAIRO
Disembark the MS Sherry. Fly from Luxor to Cairo for a three night stay at the four star Le Meridien Pyramids in a Deluxe City Room. During your time in Cairo, enjoy our Cairo Highlights package - two half days and one evening discovering the city's incredible history. This includes a visit to the fascinating Egyptian Museum, a tour to the world-famous Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, and an evening at the Pyramids Sound & Light show.

DAY 11 - CAIRO
Return to the airport for your onward journey.
