Guide

This tour is escorted from Day 2 – Day 12 by an English speaking local tour guide and assistance is provided in each destination by our local representatives. Transfers in an airconditioned vehicle are included.

Breakfast daily plus lunch on Days 9 and 11, dinner on Day 1 and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Days 2-4.

DAY 1 - LONDON to LUXOR
Fly EgyptAir from Heathrow to Luxor. On arrival transfer to your comfortable

Presidential Nile Cruise boat. Overnight in Luxor.

DAY 2 - LUXOR
Spend this morning at leisure then visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.

DAY 3 - LUXOR to EDFU
Absorb the archaeological sights on Luxor’s West Bank, including the famous Valley of the Kings. Later, sail to Edfu, passing through the lock at Esna. Overnight in Edfu.


DAY 4 - EDFU to ASWAN
Visit the Ptolemaic Edfu Temple this morning before sailing to Kom Ombo and exploring its unusual double temple. Sail onwards and overnight in Aswan.

DAY 5 - ASWAN to CAIRO
Disembark your cruise boat and travel to Aswan airport. Fly EgyptAir to Cairo and transfer to the Mövenpick Resort Cairo Pyramids for three nights.

DAY 6 - CAIRO
This morning travel to the Egyptian museum and visit the Egyptian antiquities (excluding the mummies room). An afternoon Belly dancing lesson is optional (at

extra cost). Later, depart for the spectacular Sound and Light show at the Pyramids of Giza.

DAY 7 - CAIRO
After breakfast, journey to the Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx (tickets to the Pyramid Arena included, tickets into the Grand Pyramids at extra cost). Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 8 - CAIRO to AMMAN
Fly Royal Jordanian to Amman airport and transfer to the Imperial Palace for one night.

DAY 9 - AMMAN
Embark on a city tour of Amman, then travel to the ancient city of Jerash where you will enjoy lunch at a Lebanese restaurant. Continue through the arid landscape to the Jordan Rift Valley and the lowest point on earth – the Dead Sea. Stay at the Dead Sea Spa for two nights.

DAY 10 - AMMAN to DEAD SEA
Spend today at leisure exploring the local area. Alternatively, enjoy an optional tour to the settlement of Bethany or visit the Mujib Reserve – a nature reserve deep within the Wadi Mujib gorge, which enters the Dead Sea 410 metres below sea level (both at extra cost).


DAY 11 - DEAD SEA to PETRA
Head along the King’s Highway to Petra, stopping en route at Mt. Nebo and Madaba, where you will visit St George’s Church and also have lunch. Pass through the spectacular canyon of Wadi-el-Mujib to Kerak and on to the ‘Rose-Red City’ of Petra.

Overnight at the Petra Guesthouse.


DAY 12 - PETRA
Enjoy a full day tour of the historical sights of ancient Petra.

DAY 13 - PETRA to LONDON
This morning depart for Amman airport for your return Royal Jordanian flight to Heathrow, arriving later the same day. Alternatively, choose to extend your trip.

SHARM EL SHEIKH

Return to Egypt for a beach stay by the Red Sea – excellent for relaxing, snorkelling and diving.

DAY 13
Fly Royal Jordanian to Sharm El Sheikh and stay five nights at the Sheraton Sharm (four star) or the Novotel Sharm El Sheikh (five star).

DAY 18
Return EgyptAir flight via Cairo to Heathrow, arriving later the same day.

AQABA

Continue your stay in Jordan at the coastal town of Aqaba at the tip of the Red Sea.

DAY 13
Journey to Aqaba and stay two nights at the Marina Plaza (four star) or the Kempinksi Hotel Aqaba (five star).

DAY 15
Return Royal Jordanian flight via Amman to Heathrow, arriving later the same day.
