DAY 1
Visit the imposing Pyramids and Sphinx. Explore Cairo’s historic Islamic quarter, dominated by the famous Citadel and see the impressive Sultan Hassan Mosque, one of the largest of the Islamic world. Visit the fascinating Gayer-Anderson museum in the former home of the British Army officer and stroll through Khan El Kalili bazaar where you can haggle for wares.

DAY 2
Visit the Egyptian Museum with over 10,000 artefacts and explore Coptic Cairo’s Obelisk of Sunerst 111 and Mary’s tree in Heliopolis, Coptic Museum and Abu Serga Church, the oldest Christian church in Cairo.

(NB - entrance to the Pyramids or the Mummies room at the Egyptian Museum is not included but can be arranged locally).
