Experience some of Egypt's most fascinating sights on this desert circuit. Head to Alexandria then follow in the footsteps of Alexander the Great as you travel through the desert to Siwa oasis. Stay overnight in a desert camp and visit Bahariya where you can see the incredible Golden Mummies.
TOUR INCLUDES → Based on 2 sharing, including breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served in the desert camp on Day 3. Transfers in a 4x4 vehicle and an accompanying English Speaking guide throughout.

DAY 1 → Drive to Alexandria, visiting the Catacombs of Kom el Shoukafa, Pompys Pillar, Roman Theatre and Alexandria Library. Stay overnight at the Radisson SAS hotel.
DAY 2 → The following morning drive to the war cemetery and military museum in Al Alamein. Continue to Siwa and on arrival enjoy a short tour to see how the local Berber’s simple existence has largely been untouched by modern life. Stay overnight at the Siwa Paradise hotel.
DAY 3 → Visit Gebel el Mata (the mountain of death), Shali (old Siwa), the oracle temple of Alexander, the Great Amoun Temple and Cleopatra bath. Enjoy sunset at Ain Fetnas or Abu Sherouf before spending a night in a desert camp.
DAY 4 → Drive southeast to Bahariya where the Golden Mummies were accidentally uncovered by a donkey! Have a short tour of the town and stay overnight at the Palm Village hotel.
DAY 5 → Visit the museum of the beautifully gilded Golden Mummies, before continuing to Qaser Selim and the Bennuti Tombs. Return to Cairo.
