A popular hotel with excellent pyramid-view pools

A popular, well-positioned hotel offering excellent leisure facilities including two magnificent swimming pools, a new spa and spectacular views of the Pyramids of Giza.

The hotel offers a variety of restaurants serving International cuisine, a choice of bars, a shopping arcade, two excellent swimming pools and a new spa (opening April 2011) with saunas and massage facilities. There is also a fitness centre.

Accommodation

458 rooms, each with air-conditioning, bath and/or shower, telephone, television, internet access and a fridge.
Deluxe rooms are located in the new wing or are fully refurbished rooms in the original wing and have views of the city, swimming pool or Pyramids.

•   The main bazaar area in Cairo is called Khan el Khalili, where you can bargain for items such as copperware, mother of pearl, wood, jewellery, perfumes and spices.
•   For more European shopping there is the Talat Harb Square, where you’ll find boutiques selling shoes and handbags. Great quality Egyptian cloth is also sold here. Prices are fixed, so no bartering.
