Cricket Academy in April
Buccament Bay Resort will host the Cricket Academy launching in April 2012. The Cricket Academy will provide coaching for children aged between 6 and 12 years old by two of the world's greatest cricket legends, Michael Vaughan and Matthew Hoggard.
Children will be coached for two hours each morning for five days, culminating in an awards dinner where they will be presented with a certificate and medal, a video of their performance highlights and a bespoke Canterbury cricket kit. There are limited places available for the Cricket Academy at Buccament Bay Resort, so book early to avoid disappointment.
New Harlequin Air plane
From 2012, Harlequin Air will be operating a fleet of nine-seater Piper Chieftains, so you'll be transferred in style from the Caribbean's international airports to Buccament Bay Resort on the island of St Vincent. The planes will also be used for guests who want to visit other hotels and book experiences.
Boot camp
Want to lose weight, tone up and overhaul your diet? The Luxury Boot Camp by Fitness 4 at Buccament Bay is run by ex-Royal Marine Commandos who will be your personal trainers for a detox that will leave you re-energised, motivated, healthier and stronger. Workouts include hiking through nature trails and up volcanoes; fitness circuits; boxercise; core fitness classes; kayaking and snorkelling. Fitness 4’s nutritionists have formed a healthy eating plan using fresh natural produce. No faddy diets or starvation, just delicious dishes such as chicken, lentil and apricot curry with basmati rice.
The Luxury Boot Camp by Fitness 4 will take place on the following dates in 2012:
