Marine habitat

Atlantis Bahamas is home to a spectacular marine habitat. Swim with dolphins and sea lions at the 14-acre Dolphin Cay, and discover a plethora of exotic sea creatures in The Dig, a 11,000-year-old lost continent.

Enter Ruins Lagoon to meet over 20,000 deep reef and pelagic fish on one of the Sea Keepers Adventurers programmes, or stay dry and watch sharks, barracudas, rays, sawfish and giant grouper glide past the 100-foot clear underwater tunnel submerged in Predator Lagoon.

Daring types can waterslide through the shark-infested waters of the Mayan Temple Shark Lagoon. Spot catfish, cichlids and the endangered alligator gar at Cenote; and young stingrays and bonnet-head sharks in Estuary Lagoon, a shallow-water nursery.

Watch nurse sharks resting on the bottom of Reef Lagoon as they pump water over their gills, before heading to Hibiscus Lagoon to touch and feed green sea and hawksbill turtles.

Peer through giant viewing windows at French angelfish, parrotfish, butterfly fish and squirrelfish at Seagrapes Lagoon, and visit Stingray Lagoon at feeding time to become better acquainted with these elegant creatures.

You can discover spotted eagle rays, southern stingrays and black-tip reef sharks at Royal Ray Lagoon, and see expectant black-nose sharks waiting to deliver their young in Water’s Edge Lagoon.
