When this hotel was built in the 1970s, it claimed a prime spot on the Lapad peninsula, overlooking the Elaphiti Islands and perfectly oriented for superb sunset views. Today, the architecture has been fully updated, ensconcing a large modern hotel with plenty of facilities, including a spa, a collection of restaurants, and a pebble beach from where guests can try watersports and underwater photography. And while parents will enjoy the sun-drenched terraces and luxury touches here, kids can’t fail to be totally bowled over by the massive Maro World, a children’s wonderland of soft play, playgrounds, smart toys and gaming, and trampolines.

Choosing a V Level room gives you access to a special reception for check-in and check-out and access to another restaurant for breakfast. Reserved sun loungers on the hotel beach and by the pool, especially for V Level guests, is a perk worth considering.

The large Premium Buffet Restaurant will likely be a frequented venue during a stay here – the choice is impressive and varied. But for an a la carte lunch or dinner, Miramare delivers. It has a lovely spot down on the beach. Breakfast is served in the buffet restaurant, unless you upgrade to a V Level room so you can have breakfast on the terrace at Momenti.
