The Coal Harbour area is an excellent base in Vancouver, whether you’ve got your sights set on dining, shopping, or exploring Stanley Park. With a prime spot in the neighbourhood, the Coast Hotel has comfortable rooms in a modern high-rise.

Ensconced in a glass skyscraper set just back from Vancouver’s waterfront, Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel is a busy, modern, and friendly hotel. Rooms have a crisp and contemporary feel about them, helped along by the abundance of light that floods through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The Coal Harbour neighbourhood of Vancouver is known for its views of the mountains, and some of the water-facing guestrooms on the Coast’s higher floors have a front-row seat to the scenery. All rooms have large TVs, super-soft bedding, and (somewhat unusually) Japanese-style electric bidets. The hotel’s Prestons Restaurant & Lounge is particularly handy for breakfast or if you’re arriving late and need a quick bite. In the summer months, the outdoor pool isn’t of the hang-out-all-day type but good for a quick dip before or after a blast in the hotel gym. Coal Harbour has a marina with mountain views, waterside restaurants, and a waterfront retail park. From the hotel, it’s easy to access the Seawall walking and cycling path to Stanley Park.
