Destination introduction

As you stand on a rocky crest and look out over a blue haze clinging to the Great Smoky Mountains, keep an eye out for coyote, raccoons and magnificent elks.

In Memphis, take a tour around Graceland and Elvis Presley’s colossal mansion, where you can admire his collection of cars, musical awards and board his private jet. Stop off at the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and Sun Studios where BB King and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded songs, before spending the evening in electric clubs and music bars on Beale Street.

Visit Nashville, the capital of country music, and tour the recording studios of Music Row before heading to the Country Music Hall of Fame to record your own track. Toast your musical debut with a drink in the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, listening to country musicians in action.

Laze on 60 miles of sand at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, have fun on Dollywood theme park’s rides in Pigeon Forge, and get swept up in the glitter and beats of New Orleans’ Mardi Gras. In Charleston, tour tree-lined avenues in a horse-drawn carriage, dine on Creole cuisine at The Pirates House in Savannah, and try the new-found craze of snow tubing in Gatlinburg.

We’re passionate about each state’s southern hospitality and musical heritage, and have hand-picked the area’s finest inns, beach resorts and unique accommodation.
