A haven for divers, with a wealth of top dive sites nearby. Superb snorkelling can also be found moments from the island. The airconditioned restaurant serves international cuisine, al fresco bar serving snacks and drinks, weekly themed evenings and live music, badminton and volleyball, PADI dive school, watersports including canoeing, windsurfing and catamaran sailing (all payable locally) and board games. Excursions to nearby islands and Malé are also available.

Accommodation

97 rooms in two-storey blocks, located just a few steps back from the waters edge. The rooms are fairly basic and simply furnished and have airconditioning, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, shower and a balcony or terrace.

Palm Restaurant- International cuisine- During peak periods there is a live band/disco. Dress Code- Smart casual at night, casual during daytime - no swimwear

Shopping

If you visit Malé, you’ll see plenty of street merchants offering beautiful Maldivian postage stamps. Those ragged dentures suspended outside gift shops are sharks’ jaws. Attractive T-shirts are stencilled before your eyes, generally with brilliantly coloured tropical fish.

The islanders are expert in carving coconut wood and use it to decorate their houses. Mat-weaving, basket-making and coir rope-making are long-standing crafts. Mats are woven from haa grass. There is some highlydeveloped lacquer work and you may see examples of handloom weaving or jewellery handcrafted in gold and mother of pearl.
