DAY 1 - LONDON TO PARIS TO VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESSSmart uniformed staff will welcome you aboard the British Pullman train at London Victoria, departing for Folkestone. After a three-course lunch, transfer by coach to Cheriton to board the short Eurotunnel crossing to France and on to Calais Ville, where the wonderful Wagon-Lits Carriages of the continental Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Tours await. You'll be shown to your comfortable private cabin - relax and enjoy the wonderful French countryside as you head towards Paris Gare de l’Est. Then dress for a delicious four-course dinner, prepared by skilled French chefs and served in beautiful restaurant cars. Listen to the pianist over a nightcap before retiring to your inviting cabin, which has been transformed into a cosy bedroom.DAY 2 - VENICE SIMPLON-ORIENT-EXPRESS TO VENICEBy morning you'll have crossed the border into Switzerland and enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast served in your cabin. Speed through the lovely Austrian countryside and enjoy a magnificent lunch.Later in the day you'll cross into Italy and on to Verona, making a very brief stop. On your journey to Venice you'll be served a wonderful afternoon tea, arriving in Venice early evening to stay two nights at the five star Hotel Danieli.DAY 4 - VENICE TO LONDONAfter breakfast take your private transfer to Venice for your British Airways flight back to London Gatwick, arriving the same day.
