Will take you first by bus to Milazzo where you embarke to Lipari and then to Vulcano, on both islands you will have time off for exploration (Lipari: i Faraglioni, the Hors Cave, pumice stone quarry) or to do some swimming in the sulphurous sea water. We will take you to the beautiful valley of the temples and also to the roman villa Romana del Casale to admire its ancient mosaic floors - our local guide explains the temples during the visit with the group while the mosaics will be explained on the bus because the area is to narrow and area to do it in. Travel first to the Alcantara Gorges and afterwards to the mediaeval town of Randazzo where you will take a special little train round the mountain until Adrano. Then you will go by bus up to 1900 metres to the crater area (optional ascent to the top). Not Included: Lunch, optional ascent by cable car and 4WD minicoach to 2.900 mt.

We will take you directly by bus up to a height of 1900 metres to the crater area by the south side. Time for trekking (optional ascent to the top2.900 mt). we advise to bring along sweat shirts, jacket (it can be chilly) and good walking shoes. The base excursion is up to a height of 1900 meters, which is the area where the death crater is, and all the souvenir shops and a restaurant. There is a possibility to have a snack at the bar or to have lunch at the restaurant; however one will have less time for it if going to the top (first by cable car 'till 2500 mt. and than by jeep till 2900 mt.) We will take you to visit a mixture of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque styles. The Ortygia area’s quaint streets and alleys lead to the serene Arethusa fountain and a striking cathedral, set in its own Piazza. Explore remains of the ancient Greek city at the archaeological park and on leaving Syracuse you visit the Eurialo Castle, the major Greek fortification of the Mediterranean still standing to this day.
