DAY 1 LONDON TO CASABLANCA
Fly Royal Air Maroc from Heathrow to Casablanca Airport, transferring to the Meridien Royal Mansour or similar and overnight.

DAY 2 CASABLANCA to RABAT
Morning visit to the old medina and Place Mohammed V. Take an optional guided tour around the Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, continue by road to Rabat and enjoy a tour of the old medina and Oudaya Kasbah. View the well-preserved minaret and The Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a historical building considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture containing the tombs of the Moroccan king and his two sons. Visit the Chellah, the remains of an ancient Roman city, and see the front of the Royal Palace. Overnight in Rabat at La Tour Hassan or L'Amphitrite Palace.

DAY 3 RABAT to TANGIER
Drive to Tangier via the Grottes d'Hercule and Cap Spartel. Take in the sights of small tea houses, beautiful old buildings and ornate mosques. In Tangier, see the Dar-el-Makhzen (Sultanate Palace) - a 17th Century building overlooking the medina, now home to two museums, as well as the ancient Kasbah and souks. Dinner and overnight at the Andalucia or similar.

DAY 4 TANGIER to FES
Morning drive to Tetouan in the valley of the Martil River and onwards to Chefchaouen. Arrive in Fes late afternoon. Dinner is at the Palais Medina or Jnan Palace where you will spend three nights.

DAY 5 FES
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Fes. Visit the old and new medinas, explore the souks and stop briefly to view the fountain at Palais Nejjarien, the ancient ramparts and the entrance to the Royal Palace. An optional three-course lunch at a private palace in the old medina is recommended (extra cost locally).

DAY 6 FES to MEKNES
Drive to Meknès and experience the sights of the city. See the Moulay Ismail Royal Stables, granaries and house of  water. Drive to nearby Volubilis to see the Roman ruins. A final stop at the Moulay Idriss and a nearby vantage point offering panoramic views of this city. Return to Fes for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 MEKNES to ERFOUD
Depart for a full day drive to Erfoud. Ride in a four-wheel drive to see  a wonderful sunset over the dunes. A camel ride is optional (extra cost locally). Tonight (weather permitting) stay overnight in a Bedouin style tented camp.

DAY 8 ERFOUD to OUARZAZATE
Breakfast under canvas before returning to Erfoud by four-wheel drive. Journey onwards through the Gorges of Todra and the Dadès Valley to Ouarzazate. Enjoy two nights at the Berbere Palace or similar.

DAY 9 OUARZAZATE
Morning city tour of Ouarzazate. Visit the ancient Kasbah complex of Ait Benhaddou, said by UNESCO to be an historical treasure.

DAY 10 OUARZAZATE to MARRAKECH
This morning leave for Marrakech via the Tizi n’ Tichkas Pass - over 6,000 feet above sea level. In the afternoon, stroll through the famous Djemaa el Fna Square and explore the bustling souks. Two nights at the Atlas Medina & Spa or similar.

DAY 11 MARRAKECH
A half day guided tour of the historical sights includes the pretty Menara Gardens, the imposing 12th Century Koutoubia Minaret and the opulent Bahia Palace. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 12 MARRAKECH to LONDON
Breakfast before transferring to the Airport for your Royal Air Maroc flight to Heathrow arriving later the same day.
