ESCORTED MINIBUS SAFARI
English speaking driver/guide from Day 3 until Day 6 in vehicles with maximum 6 passengers, all with a window seat and standing space when game viewing. Upgrade to a private minibus for 2 for a supplement of £199 per person.

DAY 1 - LONDON TO MOMBASA Kenya Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Mombasa via Nairobi.
DAY 2 - MOMBASA On arrival transfer to the Sarova Whitesands Resort & Spa for the afternoon and night in a Standard room in preparation for your forthcoming safari.
DAY 3 - MOMBASA TO TSAVO EAST Board your safari vehicle and drive to Tsavo East, in the heart of elephant country. Enjoy game viewing in the park, where you are almost certain to meet spectacular herds of elephants, zebras and other plains game. After lunch in the park, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive in search of big cats and more, including a myriad of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the Voi Wildlife Lodge - a large lodge which boasts a natural waterhole that attracts big game, and a thatch restaurant with views across the plains of Tsavo East.
DAY 4 - TSAVO EAST TO TAITA HILLS After breakfast depart for the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for a short game drive before lunch. The afternoon game drive gives you the opportunity to encounter resident cheetah and lion. Dinner and overnight is at the Sarova Saltlick Lodge, set high on stilts overlooking a floodlit waterhole and feeding pasture that offers an incredible view of wildlife and game that often come to drink during the night. Large numbers of wildlife flock to the waterhole, so with luck this is your chance to witness amazing animals in their natural habitat. This is the perfect time for incredible photo opportunities.
DAY 5 - TAITA HILLS TO TSAVO WEST Leave for Tsavo West National Park and a game drive en route to the Kilaguni Serena Lodge for lunch. During this or the afternoon game drive you will visit the renowned Mzima Springs, a stream of crystal clear water that attracts hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. One of the first lodges to be built in a Kenyan national park, Kilaguni's magnificent views include the snowy peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, weather permitting.
DAY 6 - TSAVO WEST TO LONDON After breakfast, depart from Kilaguni Serena Lodge. We highly recommend that you extend your stay in Kenya on the coast for a relaxing beach break - the perfect combination after your adventurous safari. Please see details of our Mombasa extension below. Alternatively, return to Mombasa for your Kenya Airways overnight flight via Nairobi to Heathrow (to avoid what may be a long wait for your flight at Mombasa airport, a private road transfer to Nairobi airport can be arranged at extra cost - please call for details).

DAY 6 - After arriving back from safari, return to the Sarova Whitesands or any other featured beach hotel for three nights. Enjoy succulent seafood and relaxation on Kenya's beautiful coast (extra cost). Your stay can always be extended here by any number of nights with complete flexibility.
DAY 9 - Kenya Airways overnight flight from Mombasa via Nairobi to Heathrow.
