Destination introduction

The focus of beach life on Kenya's idyllic Indian Ocean coast is Mombasa, the country's second largest city. There is plenty to interest the sightseer, Arabian character evident in traditional lifestyles, markets, religion and cuisine, and a host of activities to delight the energetic, but the principal pleasure of a stay in Mombasa is relaxing on the stunning white sands and doing precisely nothing.
