Ketsana made landfall in Vietnam on Tuesday afternoon and weakened in the night to become a tropical depression. It hit the area around Hoi An and Danang.
Early reports indicate that the majority of the damage will be cleared in the resorts within 48 hours and we have been advised of the closure of several hotels. Kuoni are investigating alternative hotels and any necessary changes to itineraries.
The Kuoni Operations department will be contacting any clients affected and will continue to monitor the situation, working closely with the Federation of Tour Operators (FTO) and our ground agents to establish the full extent of any damage and effect on the infrastructure.
